**Job Summary:**
Human Institute Psychology and Therapy is seeking a passionate Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) to join their mission-driven team on a part-time basis. This role provides an opportunity to grow professionally, make a difference in people's lives, and receive support every step of the way.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct comprehensive intake interviews, assessments, and observations to identify client needs.
- Collaborate with supervisors to design and implement personalized treatment plans.
- Provide counseling services for individuals (adults and children), couples, and families under supervision.
- Ensure accurate and confidential documentation, always compliant with state and federal guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver coordinated, high-quality care.
- Complete external documentation with timeliness and accuracy.
- Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and ongoing professional development.
- Meet regularly with supervisors for guidance and to advance toward licensure requirements.

**Qualifications:**
- Current Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) license in New Jersey.
- At least 2 years of counseling or mental health experience.
- Strong ability to build rapport and create trust with clients.
